WINE TASTING ON 16 AND 17 February 2011

The Italian archaeologist for Enology and Viticulture, Maurizio De Simone, presents you five wines from Campania and Lazio, which were manufactured from more than 100 year old vines and from ancient recipes. During the tasting you will learn all about the wines, its characteristics and its production characteristics.
These are typical and region-specific specialties such as
-pecorino laziale fresco (fresh cheese from Lazio),
-spiedini mozzarella e pomodorini (mozzarella skewers with cherry tomatoes),
-frittata Tues spaghetti al pomodoro (pancakes with spaghetti and tomato),
- capocollo toscano (Capocollo from Tuscany), Pecorino di Pienza
-(sheep's milk cheese from Tuscany)
offered as an ideal wine accompaniment.
Then we treat you with a cold typical Neapolitan dish like insalata di riso con ventresca Tues tonno di Marsala, mais e verdure sotto aceto (rice with Marsala tuna, corn and pickled vegetables).
