On 7 March 2011 Gourmet's Italia, the main event as part of Italian wines and delicacies for the seventh time a guest in Vienna. The event is organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Austria in cooperation with Gourmet's International, the organizer of the prestigious Merano International Wine Festival.
The Austrians love has always been the southern neighboring country, estimate the quality of Italian food and wine. This event has so quickly become a must for all lovers of Italy. In Lower Austria Palais present in the central Herrengasse selected winemakers and food producers have their wines and culinary delights of the Austrian trade visitors, journalists and private audience.

The range is broad: from historical to innovative winemakers. Among them is the company Principi di Porcia, which presses for 55 generations of wine. Even the Habsburgs to have their wines can taste the prince Castello di Porcia.
Also featured are innovative winemakers like Diadema: Swarovski stones adorn the bottle and replace the traditional label - an absolute novelty.
The pampering
The guided wine tasting with wine expert and journalist Lucy Schrampfer have become a tradition and let vinophile heart beat faster. The consortium allows for the Protection of Grana Padano cheese, it does not take itself to lead you through the tasting.
